As long as you are able to swim, you are welcome to come and try out a new sport. Coaching is free, subject to an annual membership fee of £96 (£8 monthly) for under 14s, and £192 (£16 monthly) for under 18s and full time students. This fee also includes access to other facilities within the club, including squash and tennis. The under 14 charge also comes with a free social membership for one parent. Coaching sessions take place every day, from around 5:30pm - 8:00pm on weekdays and 9:00am - 12:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. However, you don't have to attend all of them! All are focused on differing skill levels, so the club can give further information on how many sesisons a week you might be interested in. Most can expect to receive 1 to 2 training sessions a week. Session do take place all year round, but during the winter period, expect more inside training on machines, rather than a dark, cold night on the river. Demand is high, so a waiting list may apply.
