Words, Signs & Vibes is the only Integrated Deaf and hearing Youth Theatre in the UK!

They are based in Birmingham and have around 17 regular members aged 13-18, all a mixture of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing young poeple.

The Theatre is lead by the members. The group decide what project they want to do and the theme of their performances. The young people are also on the committee and represent the views of the group when making decisions.

These regular Saturday sessions take place during term time and are led by both Deaf and hearing leaders and are based around warm-up games and exercises, sign song. The group rehearse towards two public performances a year, and there are regularly guest artists and theatre companies leading the sessions.
